Nairobi, April 2- Bomas of Kenya CEO Peter Koria has been acquitted after the court ruled that the prosecution failed to prove allegations of Sh8.6 million in procurement irregularities against him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prosecution had accused him of awarding public tenders irregularly for kitchen supplies, including utensils, plates, cups, and cutlery. The specific tenders\u2014Quotation No. 15 (Kitchen Items), Quotation No. 16 (Utensils), Quotation No. 17 (Kitchen Items), Quotation No. 18 (Plates & Cups), and Quotation No. 19 (Cutlery & Other Items)\u2014were allegedly not part of Bomas of Kenya\u2019s Budget and Procurement Plan for the 2020\/2021 financial year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
