Nairobi, October 7- Apostle James Ng\u2019ang\u2019a of Neno Evangelism Ministry has hit back at Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris for calling for his arrest, claiming her attacks are politically driven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a video shared on his social media platforms, Ng\u2019ang\u2019a said the repeated criticism he faces is because of his massive following, which he believes has unsettled some politicians. He warned that although he has no formal platform like Parliament to air his grievances, he would \u201ctake the matter to God,\u201d who, he said, would deal with his critics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat have I done now? I know you people will make phone calls for my arrest. There is God in heaven, and one day you will pay. You started attacking me over this land issue, and you don\u2019t fear the Lord,\u201d Ng\u2019ang\u2019a said. He added that Passaris had targeted him without cause and vowed that God would \u201cscatter\u201d those fighting him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Passaris\u2019s call for Ng\u2019ang\u2019a\u2019s arrest came after a video surfaced online showing the preacher apparently confessing to being part of an eight-member gang that assaulted a woman years ago. The authenticity of the video has not been confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe assaulted one woman while we were eight people. We did it,\u201d Ng\u2019ang\u2019a is heard saying in the clip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement on her official X account, Passaris urged the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to verify the clip\u2019s authenticity and determine whether it is genuine or AI-generated. She said that if it is real, Ng\u2019ang\u2019a should be arrested and charged, and he should also name his accomplices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
