In a post on X, Salah wrote: \u201cI have never claimed to replace Baba\u2019s family, nor have I ever disrespected Mama Ida or his children. Any suggestion that I insulted, sidelined or spoke ill of them is false and malicious.\u201d He insisted that the narratives painting him as dismissive of the Odinga family are simply not true. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Salah also addressed how he came to be close to Raila Odinga, saying his proximity during the former prime minister\u2019s illness was entirely with Raila\u2019s knowledge and consent.
