Nairobi Hospital has the largest capacity, with 143 beds designated for Ebola case management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government has also identified additional isolation centres at county level, with plans to expand capacity if the situation requires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The measures come after the Ministry of Health confirmed that a Kenyan man who had travelled from the Democratic Republic of Congo through Uganda tested positive for Ebola and later died in Nairobi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Health authorities have intensified surveillance, contact tracing and screening at points of entry to prevent further transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of October 6, more than 652,000 travellers had been screened, while 267 samples had been tested in five laboratories.
