Nairobi, July 22- The Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) marked a milestone on July 18, 2025 with a successful Sports Day event held at the KCB Leadership Centre in Karen, Nairobi.
The event, organized by the PSC Wellness Committee, brought together staff for a spirited day of competition, collaboration, and community.
With the theme “Igniting Team Spirit, Fueling Fitness, and Powering Productivity,” the event aimed to promote physical wellbeing, strengthen team bonds and boost workplace morale.



A wide range of activities kept participants engaged throughout the day, including football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, table tennis, and the ever-popular tug of war. Laughter and cheers filled the air as staff from various departments faced off in friendly matches, showcasing both athleticism and teamwork.



The Clerk of the Senate and Secretary to the PSC, Mr. Jeremiah Nyegenye, commended the event’s organizing committee led by Mr. Osborn Obayo, highlighting the vital role sports and wellness initiatives play in enhancing productivity and fostering unity among staff.
Among the attendees were Senator Joyce Korir, Honourable Mishi Mboko, Senator Wahome Wamatinga, Deputy Clerk Eunice Gachangi and Senate Deputy Clerk Mohamed Ali delivered remarks and took part in the activities throughout the day.
The event concluded with a celebratory awards dinner where top-performing teams and individuals were recognized, and special commendations were given for discipline and sportsmanship.
