Nairobi, february 20- Charles Kanjama has been elected as the new President of the Law Society of Kenya, taking over leadership at a pivotal time for the legal profession and the country.
Outgoing President Faith Odhiambo congratulated Kanjama on his victory and urged him to serve with distinction, integrity, and a strong commitment to the rule of law. She expressed confidence in his leadership, noting that he assumes office at a moment when Kenyans are keenly observing the society’s role in governance and accountability.
Odhiambo also pointed out that Kanjama inherits a stable and united institution, encouraging him to build on that foundation to strengthen the society’s influence and impact in upholding constitutionalism and justice.
