Nairobi, Kenya, November 11- Activist Kasmuel McOure has officially joined the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party, a move that he hopes will inspire young Kenyans to rally around a common vision for a fair and dignified Kenya.
Following a recent meeting with ODM’s chairperson and Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, Kasmuel announced his commitment to revitalizing ODM’s Youth and Student Leagues across the country.
Highlighting ODM as the only truly pro-people political organization in East and Central Africa, Kasmuel urged young people to join what he sees as the strongest platform for positive change.
“If you’re willing to join a substantive political movement for a fair, democratic Kenya where everyone can live with dignity, consider @TheODMparty -the largest pro-people party in East and Central Africa! We’re revitalizing the Youth and Students’ Leagues and are calling on passionate young Kenyans to help shape our future. Stand with us! Thank you, party chair @gladyswanga, for your faith and hosting us this weekend.”
Kasmuel emphasized the importance of reaching all segments of Kenyan society, noting that his outreach will target both educated and uneducated young people, encouraging them to become active in the party. He will also play a role in recruiting new young members, seeing their involvement as essential to ODM’s goals.
Governor Wanga echoed this sentiment, recognizing the need for young leadership within ODM. She emphasized that the future of the party lies with dynamic, engaged individuals from the rising Gen Z and Gen Alpha generations, with Kasmuel as a shining example of the type of leadership ODM hopes to nurture.
This decision by Kasmuel to join ODM follows a recent meeting with ODM’s founder and former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, further solidifying his commitment to advancing ODM’S mission alongside influential leaders. .
