Nairobi, Kenya, December 6- Musician and businesswoman Akothee has urged Simon and Sarah Kabu to keep their ongoing marital disputes off social media, emphasizing the potential harm it could cause their family and reputation.

In a candid Facebook post, Akothee advised the couple to prioritize their loved ones and avoid sharing videos or posts aimed at justifying their actions. She warned that such content could be used against them by the very audience they hope to convince.

“Remember, people online don’t want evidence to set you free. Instead, they will use everything you share to bring you down,” she stated.

Akothee expressed concern about the impact of the public spat on the Kabus’ children and family members, cautioning them about the long-term consequences of their actions. “Whatever is happening now is not good for either of you, your family members, or your children. All the evidence you’re putting out there will haunt you one day,” she added.

Addressing Simon Kabu directly, Akothee urged him to take the lead in resolving their issues privately. Drawing from her own experiences, she advised him to step away from the public eye during such a sensitive time. “Kabu, shut up. You are a man, a father, and an entrepreneur. Stay away from the camera. This matter is too sensitive to be public. I’ve been in similar shoes, where my ex painted me as the problem, even though he knew the truth,” Akothee shared.

The couple’s troubles became public after CCTV footage allegedly showed Sarah assaulting a woman. While Sarah denied the claims, Simon confirmed that the incident involved their nanny. The situation escalated further when Sarah posted about following up on a gender-based violence complaint she had filed with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

Simon and Sarah Kabu, known for their roles as CEO and Managing Director of the travel company Bonfire Adventures, have left many speculating about the future of their business amid the ongoing controversy. Akothee’s advice serves as a reminder of the importance of resolving personal conflicts privately to avoid long-term repercussions.
