Nairobi, Kenya, January 20- Tanzanian music icon Diamond Platnumz has revealed plans to marry Zuchu, his on-and-off partner.

The announcement was made on Sunday, January 19, during a CCM political rally in Dodoma, Tanzania.

Diamond, who is a father of five, stated that the wedding is set for February, just before the start of Ramadan on Friday, February 7.

While attending the rally alongside fellow artist Nandy, Diamond confirmed his wedding plans despite having previously denied his relationship with Zuchu on the latest season of Netflix’s Young, Famous & African.

“He says he will marry her next month before Ramadan,” Nandy declared publicly at the event, reiterating Diamond’s intentions.

All this comes comes days after Zuchu threatened to sue Diamond Platnumz’s company for mockery and Diamond denied they were lovers. To make matters worse, he boasted about his freedom to have multiple women.

While attempting to flirt with fellow Young, Famous & African guest Fantana, Diamond insisted Zuchu was just an employee.

“I don’t know if she is your artiste or your girlfriend. What is it?” Fantana questioned.

To this, Diamond responded, “She is my artiste. You mean Zuchu, right? She’s my artiste,” Diamond claimed.

“Yeah, it starts with a Z. Yes,” Fantana said.

Diamond, who has had at least four public relationships, shared:

“Of course, I can’t tell her of the girls I’m seeing. I’d be stupid to do that. Sometimes, ladies, you need to give them sweet words. You can’t tell them the truth. If you tell them the truth, you will never make them like you more,” he stated.

This revelation came during an episode of Young, Famous & African.

Zuchu responded by threatening to sue Wasafi Media presenters, accusing them of intentionally humiliating her.
