Nairobi, October 29- Police in Diani, Kwale County, are processing the deportation of Elwin Ter Horst, a Dutch national captured on video insulting and spitting at police officers inside Diani Police Station.
In the viral footage, Horst is seen yelling at officers before spitting saliva and mucus at one of them. He had been arrested on Tuesday evening while intoxicated and was set to face charges of assault, malicious damage to property, creating a disturbance, and possession of narcotics.
Authorities also discovered that Horst was in Kenya illegally, as his passport had expired. Msambweni Police Commander Robinson Langat condemned the incident, warning that foreign nationals who break Kenyan laws will face firm legal consequences.
