Nairobi, February 10 – Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has once again clashed with Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema, this time suggesting that Malema should be classified as an international criminal.

Musk’s comments were in reaction to a video in which Malema accused the Democratic Alliance (DA) of only supporting white leaders. The Tesla CEO has recently been vocal about South African politics, including opposing the Expropriation Act.

In the video, Malema stated that targeting white individuals would cause them significant distress. He added that other figures, such as Herman Mashaba and Solly Msimanga, would also be targeted, but the focus was on dismantling “whiteness” first.

Musk responded on social media platform X, accusing Malema of inciting genocide against white South Africans. He further suggested that sanctions should be imposed on Malema and that he should be designated as an international criminal.

Malema dismissed Musk’s remarks, stating that he was not intimidated by threats of sanctions and would not be swayed by what he called a “spoilt brat.” He reiterated his commitment to advocating for black South Africans, regardless of opposition from global figures.

This is not the first time Musk has criticized Malema. In 2023, he condemned Malema for chanting “Kill the Boer” at the EFF’s 10th-anniversary rally, accusing him of encouraging violence against white farmers.
