Nairobi, September 2- University and TVET students who had not yet applied for government financial assistance have been given an additional three weeks to submit their applications.
The extension is aimed at giving more students an opportunity to access funding under the government’s Higher Education Financing (HEF) programme, which provides financial support to learners pursuing higher education and technical training.
Students who missed the initial application deadline can now complete their applications within the extended period. The government has encouraged eligible learners to take advantage of the additional time and ensure they provide the required information when applying.
The funding programme is part of government efforts to make higher education more accessible by providing financial support based on students’ individual financial circumstances.
Authorities have also continued to urge students to apply through the official channels and provide accurate details to avoid delays in processing their applications.
The extension is expected to benefit students who may have faced difficulties completing their applications before the initial deadline.
