Nairobi, September 30- Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested a Tanzanian couple suspected of operating a crime syndicate in Mombasa.
During the operation, detectives recovered several items believed to have been stolen, including mobile phones, a laptop, watches, wallets, chargers and clothing.
Police also seized substances suspected to be stupefying drugs as investigations into the alleged syndicate continue.
The couple is expected to face further legal proceedings as detectives work to establish the extent of the suspected criminal network and identify other possible suspects.
