Nairobi, August 28- FIFA President Gianni Infantino is set to attend the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) final at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, on August 30.
Kenya’s CHAN Local Organising Committee Chairman, Nicholas Musonye, confirmed Infantino will be thw chief guest as the eighth edition of the continental tournament reserved for home based players comes to a close.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino is set to attend the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) final at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, on August 30.
CAF President Patrice Motsepe and all 54 African football federation heads are also expected at the event. Organisers say Infantino’s visit is a major boost for Kenyan football, marking his first official trip to the country since assuming office.
The final, hosted as part of a tri-nation tournament, will see Morocco face Madagascar in a much-anticipated clash that has attracted massive fan support across the continent.
