Nairobi, October 21- Kenyan R&B and Bongo star Willy Paul, famous for one of the region’s most beloved wedding anthems, has revealed that he has no intention of getting married.

The artist, whose 2017 collaboration with Jamaican singer Alaine produced the timeless hit “I Do,” says the increasing levels of infidelity in today’s relationships have completely discouraged him from settling down.

Despite “I Do” being a staple at weddings across East Africa symbolizing love and lifelong commitment Willy Paul admits he no longer believes in the idea of lasting love.

According to him, modern relationships are plagued by unfaithfulness, making marriage feel pointless. “Everyone is cheating on everyone,” he lamented. “Why would I go through the trouble of a wedding just to end up heartbroken?”

His remarks highlight a broader concern shared by many in the digital era, where social media and dating apps have made infidelity easier and long-term commitment increasingly uncertain.
